My life as a single mother. 17 years is all I have known being Olivia's mother, very little time to think of myself and everything to be sure I am teaching my little person to be a productive member of society. This is Olivia's senior year in high school. As this school year comes to a close, I have witnessed my close friends and other single moms deliver their now budding adults to universities across the country. My heart breaks for all moms as I watch them return to their empty homes.
I question what my future holds for me? Will I be your next neighbor with 100 cats? How will I feel this time? How should I write these next few chapters of my new life? I invite you to join me as we begin to write the next chapters of our new lives. Will I start dating again at the age of 55? Will I start a new business, rediscover who I am and begin to "reinvent myself" as my therapist suggest?
I like to think I have a few more stories to tell as I approach my next chapters of my life.... Should be very interesting and I hope you are all here for it.
